Here are a few apps that are using mindfulness to offer mental health support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"3-mindfulness-apps-that-offer-mental-health-support\">3 Mindfulness Apps That Offer Mental Health Support<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"1-sanvello\">1) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sanvello.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sanvello<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness meditation, Sanvello offers personalized strategies to help you find <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mindful.org\/a-mindful-approach-to-depressive-thoughts-patterns\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">relief from anxiety, stress, and depression<\/a>. You can track your mood and choose exercises tailored to your result\u2014including meditations, videos, articles, and prompts. Users can also connect with a coach or therapist via message, and with other users through discussion boards and chat groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"2-rootd\">2) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rootd.io\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Rootd<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>When you\u2019re having a panic attack, Rootd offers a literal \u201cbig red button\u201d to press when you need help facing anxiety or finding comfort. When you press the button, the app offers prompts to help return you to a sense of calm. These are audio reminders about what a panic attack is, how long one may last, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mindful.org\/how-the-body-scan-meditation-practice-reduces-biological-stress\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">how capable your body is of handling what you\u2019re feeling<\/a>. You can also follow the short- and long-term lessons on anxiety at your own pace\u2014 which include deep breathing instruction, mindfulness meditation, and other mindful tools like journaling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"3-unwinding-anxiety\">3) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unwindinganxiety.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Unwinding Anxiety<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Unwinding Anxiety offers short practices and lessons based on mindfulness training to help you \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mindful.org\/most-habit-tools-fail-with-anxiety-heres-one-that-works\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">change the \u2018habit loop\u2019 that leads to anxiety<\/a>.\u201d Over the course of the program designed by neuroscientist Judson Brewer, you\u2019ll map out behaviors of fear and anxiety and work to replace habitual patterns of worry.
